The Black Catte will open in 2008 as the Activities Center
(The Island Bar & Grill will not open in 2008)
 

Starting in 2008, the Black Catte building, where the Island Bar & Grill was formerly located, will be available to our resort customers as an Activities Center, where our guests can watch TV, play games/cards, surf the internet, meet with friends, etc.  On rainy days, customers will now have a convenient and comfortable venue to spend time outside of their RVs and boats.  AIResort will now keep the doors to the Black Catte open for more hours of the day and more days of the week. 

Management has decided not to open the Island Bar & Grill in 2008.  Food and beverage service will no longer be provided on a regular basis.*  AIResort customers are encouraged to enjoy the many dining options in the local area, including several venues that will deliver pizza and other meals to AIResort. 

*Food and beverage service can be arranged at the Black Catte and/or the Conference Center for private functions, e.g. weddings, banquets, rally functions, etc.  Please call the office for additional information.

From 2004 to 2007, AIResort has funded the operations of the Island Bar & Grill, providing an amenity that few, if any, RV resorts offer.  Economic and operational issues no longer make this feasible.  Furthermore since only a small percentage of our customers patronized the bar & grill, management feels that providing the Black Catte as an Activities Center will provide better utility to our overall customer base.

To facilitate customer interaction, AIResort will continue to periodically host live band entertainment and will regularly schedule customer-sponsored BYO wine & cheese parties and pot-luck dinners.
